Who Could Hate on Tiger?
Proof that rivalries run can deep

There is no question even rock star treatment doesn't describe what Tiger Woods is met with wherever he goes. And that is especially true here in the Bay Area.
The Stanford grad has stayed close to his roots down on the farm as well, so you would think getting a standing-O is a done deal when it comes to an appearance at a home football game right? Wrong.
This past weekend, Woods was honored for his induction into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame. He spent the first half on the sidelines holding his oldest daughter dressed in Cardinal red and took time to give the team a pre-game pep talk.
But when he took the mic during half time, an unanticipated wave of boos spread across the field. From the video, you could tell the negative chants were something unexpected and appeared to throw the golfing god. His speech lasted just 20 seconds.
Silly Tiger. This wasn't just any game. It was the Big Game. And Cal fans don't care how famous you are, if you represent the enemy you are going to get booed.
