Woman Decides to Sell Her Soul on eBay

Lori says she is not trying to offend anyone.

Do people really own their soul? That is a question eBay will have to deal with.

A New Mexico woman is offering her soul to the highest bidder on the San Jose-based company. A minimum bid of $2,000 is required.

It was not immediately clear if the devil had made an opening bid.

Whether the auction will be allowed to go on and how exactly Lori N. promises to deliver her soul
were not clear.

eBay has a strict policy prohibiting the sale of human body parts or remains. But the policy does not specifically mention souls.

"What I'm gonna deliver is the opportunity for someone to save my soul," she told NBC 2.  "They can save it through prayer, they can save it through conversion. They're also gonna get a certificate detailing the white and black marks on my soul."

The former freelance writer recently awoke from a coma only to suffer "a stroke, a broken hip, broken pelvis, leg, collarbone, sternum, ribs, a collapsed lung" after being in a car accident.

She also lost one of her breasts.

Lori said she is not trying to offend anyone or make light of her situation but she is simply looking for some sort of help to get her life back on track.
