Authorities are trying to identify a woman found dead in the parking of a motel in San Francisco's Marina District Friday morning.

According to the medical examiner's office, the woman was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the Presidio Inn at 2361 Lombard St. just after midnight. The circumstances and cause of her death are still under investigation.

Police Department spokesman Sgt. Troy Dangerfield said Monday that the death is not considered suspicious at this time.

The woman is described as white, about 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 129 pounds, with brown eyes and wavy brown-and-gray hair about 16 inches in length. She was wearing multiple shirts and a blue sweatshirt, green cargo  pants, black Teva sandals and a pink baseball cap that read "ROADSIDE Lumber & Hardware, Inc."

The company is based in Agoura Hills in Southern California. A manager said this morning that all employees have been accounted for.

The woman had no identification, no jewelry and no identifying  scars or tattoos, according to the medical examiner's office.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the medical examiner's office at 415-553-1694.
