Authorities are trying to identify a woman found dead in the parking of a motel in San Francisco's Marina District Friday morning.

According to the medical examiner's office, the woman was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the Presidio Inn at 2361 Lombard St. just after midnight. The circumstances and cause of her death are still under investigation.
