A man wanted for this morning's shooting near the Alameda County administration building in Oakland turned himself in Friday afternoon, police said.
Cedric Webb, 55, turned himself in at 3:24 p.m. at the patrol desk at Oakland police headquarters at 455 Seventh St. after police earlier identified him as the suspect in the shooting that injured a woman, Officer J. Moore said.
The shooting occurred in front of the Oasis Restaurant and Bar at 135 12th St. just after 8 a.m., police said.
A woman was hit by gunfire and taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
Webb was taken into custody after his surrender, Moore said.
