    A woman was gravely injured Tuesday morning after she was shot by a man, whom San Jose police took into custody. Kriz Sanchez reports. (Published Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016)

    A woman who was shot multiple times early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in San Jose is in stable condition, according to police.

    Shortly before 1 a.m, officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Parkside Terrace apartments in the 400 block of Wooster Avenue west of U.S. Highway 101 and while responding, the incident was upgraded to a person being shot, police said.

    One suspect, a man whose name is not yet being released, is in custody in connection with the shooting.

    No other details were immediately being released by police about the shooting.
