Woman Stabbed by Roommate in San Francisco

Police are searching for a woman who stabbed her roommate Sunday morning in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley District, police said.

Woman Stabbed by Roommate in San Francisco

The victim, identified as Rhonda Scott, 38, suffered several stab wounds and was severely burned, according to police.

Police are searching for a woman who stabbed her roommate Sunday morning in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley District, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the first block of Towerside Avenue at about 4:15 a.m. and found a woman who had been stabbed.

The woman was transported to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, and is expected to survive, police said.

Police said the suspected stabber was the woman's roommate, and that she had fled the home this morning before they arrived.

Police said they are still looking for the woman.
