The body of an elderly woman was found Thursday morning and by all accounts it appears to be a an 83-year-old woman who has been missing from San Jose for more than two months.   It is believed to be Ann Marie Vlahovich.

An electrical worker doing a fiber project for PG&E discovered a car down a ravine near Highway 9 and Highway 35 near Saratoga.

Nearby, emergencies crews discovered a body.   It looks like she survived the crash and then crawled out the passenger door and died about ten feet from the vehicle.

The single vehicle crash scene was about 25 miles from her home where she was last seen in last January.

One of Vlahovich’s neighbors called police on Feb. 2 to report that she hadn’t seen Vlahovich or her husband since Jan. 27.

Officers responded to the couple’s home in the 800 block of Kingfisher Drive and found Vlahovich’s husband in need of medical attention. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
