Yahoo, ABC Launch New Deal With Obama Sit-Down

Yahoo's attempt to define itself took another step Monday towards one thing the company has done well for a long time: News

The Sunnyvalle-based tech company announced a new partnership with ABC News Monday that will put original web content from the Mickey Mouse operation -- not an NBC jab just a fact -- on Yahoo's online and mobile platforms.

The companies will launch the service with a live interview of President Barack Obama by George Stephanopoulos at 11:35 a.m. on Monday.

Yahoo was taking questions on its site Monday for anyone who wanted to ask Mr. Obama a question.

ABC said in a statement that the partnership will give its anchors and reporters to tell deeper stories than they might be able to do on air.

It is also expected to put ABC's news content in front of potentially 100 million Yahoo users.
