YouTube Goes Live

YouTube allowing partners to stream live broadcasts.

YouTube has primarily been a parking lot for any kind of video nonsense you can think of. But today, the video hosting service is rolling out YouTube Live.

According to a press release, YouTube Live will "integrate live streaming capabilities and discovery tools directly into the YouTube platform for the first time."

Currently, users can browse the streams as the service slowly rolls out the beta to its partners over time. No mention when Joe User, will be able to live stream as well. If you really want to stream video live, there are plenty of other places to do so, such as Justin.tv, and Ustream.
