Young Blood Makes Old Mice Act Younger: Study

Research done at Stanford University suggests that scientists may be closer to discovering the fountain of youth.

The study showed giving old mice transfusions with the blood of young mice makes the old mice act younger. Their memories improve and so do their muscles.

The next step is to determine what part of the blood boosts the brain, and it could be some component that blood is just carrying around.

Experts said the research holds promise in treating age related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
