A man is accused of using his hands -- to make a fist and punch a player -- at a soccer game.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of punching of a 13-year-old soccer player in the face at the end of a youth league game in Ventura.

Ventura police said Efrain Flores, the older brother of a player involved in a postgame melee Saturday, was being held in Ventura County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Police said a fight broke out among the young players as the game ended Saturday afternoon and Flores ran on to the field and blindsided the boy, knocking him to the ground with a punch in the nose.

The boy, whose name was withheld, was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with a possible broken nose. Police reached Saturday night did not know the extent of his injuries.
