Toronto Mayor Rob Ford leaves his office at city hall in Toronto on June 30, 2014 amid a crush of cameras. The crack-smoking mayor Rob Ford returned to work more popular than ever after a stint in rehab for his internationally publicized alcohol and drug abuse.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford used many different drugs but only "on personal time" and never while at work, Ford said during an interview with Canadian broadcasters CBC and CP24 two days after being released from rehab. In the interview Ford suggested that he has tried marijuana, cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms, but was never on drugs at work. He did concede to being "under the influence of alcohol while at work." Ford's popularity has rebounded since he returned from rehab earlier this week.
