Couple Tied Up, Woman Shot in Beverly Hills Home Invasion

Three masked men knocked on the front door, forced their way inside the home and tied up the victims, police say

A manhunt was underway Friday night for three masked men who tied up a couple and shot a woman inside their Beverly Hills mansion, officials said.

Police were called about 8:29 p.m. for a report of "unknown trouble" and a possible shooting in the 400 block of Doheny Road, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Three masked men knocked on the front door, forced their way inside the home and tied up the victims, a couple in their 60s or 70s, Beverly Hills Police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said.

The men shot the woman in the leg, Hoshino said. Her injuries are non-life-threatening.

The woman was taken to the hospital with her husband, who was taken for evaluation, police said.

Santa Monica and Beverly Hills police were searching for three men in connection with the shooting, and residents were told to stay inside during the investigation.

Aerial video showed multiple patrol cars outside. Police said the public should avoid Doheny Road and Loma Vista Drive.
