Caught on Camera: Officer Pulls Driver From Burning SUV

A Texas police officer, with the help of some bystanders, pulled a driver from a burning vehicle and it was all caught on camera.

The incident happened Monday evening when an SUV crashed into a guardrail in Corpus Christi and caught fire.

When officer Jon McGinley arrived on the scene, he used his baton to break out the passenger side window of the wrecked and burning Chevy Suburban.

He then opened the door and, with the help of another person, pulled the 29-year-old driver to safety. Moments later, flames erupted from the SUV.

The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident.

So far, the driver has not been charged with any violations.
