Colorado Man Sentenced to Life for Pushing Wife to Death From Cliff

A Colorado man convicted of pushing his wife off a cliff to her death was given a mandatory life sentence Tuesday, NBC News reported.

Harold Henthorn’s second wife, Toni, fell 130 feet as the couple hiked Rocky Mountain National Park in September 2012. Prosecutors have said he killed his wife to collect on a life insurance policy.

Henthorn said he was innocent of the killing before the judge imposed the sentence, according to NBC affiliate KUSA.
