A power outage in Dallas Saturday afternoon was caused by a squirrel, according to Oncor Electric Delivery.

Oncor said more than 4,500 people near or around the Bryan Place and Exposition Park area had no power for about 40 minutes.

While looking for the cause of the outage, Oncor workers found a squirrel that had been electrocuted.

Oncor reports wildlife near power equipment can cause big problems.

All power was restored just after 5 p.m. Saturday.
