‘Day of Rage': West Bank, Jerusalem Hit by Stabbing Attacks

Two Palestinians were shot in the West Bank, another assailant shot in Jerusalem, after they tried to stab border-police officers on what Hamas and Islamic Jihad bill a "Day of Rage." 

Israeli police said the the two were armed with knives when they arrived at the Tapuch Junction in Nablus by motorcycles. One was killed and the other was wounded, according to police.

Shortly after the attack at the West Bank checkpoint, another knife-wielding man stabbed an injured an American in Jerusalem. The attacker was shot and killed.
