Death Toll in Paris Attacks Climbs to 130

The death toll in a series of coordinated terror attacks that devastated Paris last Friday has risen to 130, according the prime minister of France.

Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Friday one more person has died as the result of last week's attacks. Valls made the announcement in a speech to the Senate, which approved a three-month extension to France's state of emergency. France's National Assembly, the lower house of parliament, voted to approve the extension Thursday.

"In less than two hours, the heavily armed, meticulously prepared terrorists, true suicide attackers struck Paris and Saint-Denis seven times. They killed without pity, snuffing out 130 lives and injuring several hundred, many of whom are still fighting for their lives," Valls told the Senate, in French.

The death toll of does not include any of the attackers who died. ISIS has claimed responsiblity for the violence and a manhunt continues for a possible accomplice.

The names of those killed have begun to surface in the days since the massacre. French President Francois Hollande has said the terrorists targeted "youth in all its diversity."
