‘Strong Tornadoes' Feared as Storm Aims at Gulf Coast

Forecasters predict a powerful storm that could stir up severe thunderstorms and even a handful of dangerous tornadoes in the northern Gulf Coast on Tuesday, NBC News reported.

Weather Channel meteorologist Kevin Roth said thunderstorms are expected to march east from Texas in the morning toward Louisiana just after noon local time. From there, storms are set to continue towards Mississippi, Alabama and Florida later in the day and evening.

Heading into Wednesday, Atlanta, Georgia, and the Florida cities of Pensacola and Tallahassee are likely to be most at risk.
