Kids' Straw Tumblers Recalled Over Risk of Ingestion

Ignite USA is recalling eight different styles of Bueno by Contigo Kids Straw Tumblers. According to the recall release, posted on Tuesday, a child chewing on the drinking straw of the plastic tumbler could break off a small piece, posing a risk of ingestion or aspiration of the small part.

About 130,000 units are affected by the recall. They were sold at Meijer and Target stores nationwide from May 2015 to September 2015 for about $6.

Model numbers are printed on a label affixed to the bottom of the cup. Straw tumblers with the letter “B” engraved on the underside of the lid beneath the model number are not included in this recall.
