Jury Selected in Case of Lee Kaplan, Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting ‘Gifted' Girl, Sister

Opening statements in Lee Kaplan's trial are set to begin Wednesday morning.

A jury has been selected in the case of a Pennsylvania man accused of sexually assaulting six girls in the same family.

Judge Jeffrey Finley will oversee Lee Kaplan's child rape case in Bucks County.

Kaplan's attorney Ryan Hyde says the Feasterville man claims he's innocent. He's accused of fathering two children with a then-14-year-old girl who had been "gifted" to him for helping her parents financially. He is also accused of sexually assaulted five others.

Hyde says Kaplan maintains the mother of his children is his wife and that he didn't touch the others.

Kaplan has remained jailed on $2 million bail. Opening statements in his trial are set to begin Wednesday morning.
