A Chinese national killed in the Boston Marathon bombings has been identified as Boston University graduate student Lu Lingzi.

A spokesman for the school told NBC News Lingzi's family gave them permission to release her name. Other victims of Monday's deadly bombings have been identified as 8-year-old Martin Richard, of Boston, and 29-year-old Krystal Campbell, of Medford, Mass.

A graduate student in mathematics and statistics, Lingzi was one of three friends who watched Monday's race near the finish line, according to BU Today, the news and information website for Boston University.

Another of the students injured while watching the race was in stable condition at Boston Medical Center and "doing well," Robert Hill, dean of Marsh Chapel, told BU Today after meeting with the student.
