Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Has Heart Surgery

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had a stent implanted in her heart Wednesday morning after she experienced discomfort during exercise, according to the Supreme Court. She had a stent placed in her right coronary artery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She was resting comfortably and was expected to be discharged within 48 hours, the court said. Ginsburg, 81, was appointed to the court by President Bill Clinton in 1993.
