After a student at University of South Carolina knew she'd have a hard time when she got pregnant, her math professor was determined to keep her in school -- proof of which was posted to Facebook in an adorable photo that has since gone viral.
Sarah Thompson shared a photo of Dr. Josie Ryan holding Thompson's son as she lectured.
The post went viral, earning more than 6,400 likes and thousands of shares after Thompson described how it was Ryan who convinced her to not give up.
"She knew I'd be overwhelmed so literally begged me to bring Isaiah to class [and] even showed me where the breastfeeding room in the health center was at Lander University," she wrote.
She says her brilliant professor held her 3-week-old baby in the photo that she hopes will inspire other educators.
"I am in a perfect world when I am learning math in college with my baby right next to me... or in my teachers arms," Thompson said.
