Tennessee Authorities Search for Missing 2-year-Old Boy

Law-enforcement officials were renewing their search early Sunday for a 2-year-old boy who disappeared in the Tennessee woods, NBC News reported.

Noah Chamberlin has been missing since Thursday afternoon. He disappeared while hiking with his grandmother and sister in the woods near his family's home in Pinson, Tennessee.

Authorities have "no reason" to believe foul play was involved, Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver told NBC station WMCA.

"It is a search and rescue mission," Weaver added. "We have total faith that we're going to find Noah and we're going to bring him home safe."

After accepting volunteers to assist in the search, the Chester County Sheriff's Department said only certified law enforcement officers would be allowed to search on Sunday.

"Our main goal is to bring Noah home," the department said on Facebook.
