A trash truck crashed into a reservoir in North Andover, Massachusetts, Thursday morning, police say.
According to the town's website, Lake Cochichewick is used by North Andover as a source of water supply.
The cause of the crash into the reservoir at Old Great Road is not yet known. The driver was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The road is closed between Rte. 125 and Bradford Street.
The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, the North Andover Health Department and the Massachusetts Health Department have all been notified.
