The Democratic National Committee agreed Friday night to restore voter database access to the presidential campaign of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, NBC News reported.
The DNC temporarily barred the campaign this week from the massive trove of voter information after Sanders' staff improperly accessed data compiled by the campaign of rival Hillary Clinton.
Sanders' campaign filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking to regain access to the database and reached a deal with the DNC shortly before they were scheduled to appear before a judge at 11:00 p.m. ET Friday. Sanders' campaign manager Jeff Weaver told NBC News that access could be restored as soon as Saturday.
