The four main candidates in California's two top races criss-crossed the state of California this weekend in a final push to Election Day.
The two Democrats, gubenatorial candidate Jerry Brown and Senate candidate Barbara Boxer, announced late Sunday they will wrap things up Monday evening in the Bay Area. Both Brown and Boxer are scheduled to appear at a rally in Oakland's Jack London Square starting at 5:15 p.m.
Brown did the most traveling Sunday starting the day in Eureka and ending it in Riverside, with a stop in Sacramento along the way.
Boxer started her day at Sunday services in Los Angeles County. She will stay in Southern California through midday Monday, according to her campaign, before heading to the Oakland rally.
Senate Republican candidate Carly Fiorina spent lunch time Sunday in Fresno and ended her day at an event in Walnut Creek.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman also spent the weekend in Southern California. She traveled from place to place on a bus she called the "Take Back Sac Express." It was not clear what Whitman had scheduled for Monday.
A Field Poll out late last week gave Brown a double-digit lead over Whitman. The poll had Brown at 49 percent and Whitman at 39 percent of likely voters.
The talking will stop once the polls open early Tuesday morning.
