Candidates Pull the Plug on Radio Debate

The candidates decided at the last-minute to cancel the hour-long debate, which would have been their only radio debate.

It could be the one thing both gubernatorial candidates Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown agree on -- they won't be participating in a debate Tuesday.

The candidates decided at the last-minute to cancel the hour-long debate scheduled to air on KGO, which would have been their only radio debate.

A representative from Brown's campaign tells us both sides talked about the debate, and made a mutual decision to not to go forward.
