Fiorina: Boxer is Part of Broken Political System

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina is asking California voters to retire Sen. Barbara Boxer after nearly three decades in Washington, D.C.

Fiorina attacked the Democratic incumbent as having a record of supporting more government regulations and higher taxes during her address Saturday to the California Republican Party's fall convention.

The former Hewlett Packard Co. CEO says California voters need to "confine Barbara Boxer's career to memories."

Fiorina also proposed political reforms, including term limits in Congress and greater transparency of government spending.

She says she endorses Proposition 20 on the November ballot, which would add the task of redrawing congressional district boundaries to an independent citizens commission.
