"I'm pullin' for ya."

That's Howard Stern to Rod Blagojevich today, when the disgraced former governor appeared on the disgraceful shock jock's Sirius Radio program.

According to a Wall Street Journal post, Blago defended his innocence and joked that he'd written his own book, even if it did require "six boxes of crowns."

What, no love for your daughter's pink dictation machine?

The Journal:

When Stern asked him if he felt his case was comparable to former New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, who resigned after a tryst with a prostitute, Blagojevich used an earthy analogy to say the cases weren’t comparable.

Blagojevich was arrested in December on corruption charges. Stern asked Blagojevich about the lame duck period as the accusations emerged. “It was more like slain duck,” Blagojevich said.

He had to put up with some ribbing from the crew, including speculation on the types of searches he would be subject to if convicted and sent to jail. Blagojevich said his trial was scheduled for June.

Blago continues to make the rounds on his publicity tour. Meanwhile, back in Chicago, cops are still looking for persons of interest in the death of Christopher Kelly.

Blago said today he'd attend Kelly's funeral Wednesday.
