Most of the events also drew smaller crowds of anti-Trump demonstrators, which resulted in some arrests and altercations. An event in Orange County in Southern California drew around 2,000 people and resulted in 6 arrests, police said, and 3 more were arrested at a rally near Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In Philadelphia, police stopped marchers short of their intended destination to avoid potential clashes with anti-Trump demonstrators. Events in Boston and on the Jersey Shore also drew crowds in support of, and against, the president.
