Melania Trump defended her husband against accusations of misogyny and insisted that he does not mistreat women in a sit-down interview with "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski that aired Wednesday on MSNBC.
She said that her husband, the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, didn't conduct himself with bias toward male or female employees in The Trump Organization.
"They're treated equal," Trump said. "I see him in life. He treats women the same as men."
Donald Trump has been accused of sexism throughout this election cycle by some in both parties, notably in describing Fox News host Megyn Kelly's performance as a debate moderater.
But asked about Kelly, Melania Trump told MSNBC that her husband did not have sexist intentions.
