Palin Taunts Dems From Across Stateline

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin taunted Democratic leaders on Monday during the Reno kickoff of a cross-country Tea Party Express tour.

Palin was in San Jose last week, but it was part of a paid speaking tour.  Monday's efforts is the beginning of a cross-country sweep specifically for the tea party.

The 15-day tour wraps up in New Hampshire on Nov. 1, the day before the election.

Its is intended to capitalize on government discontent and unify conservatives against the likes of Sen. Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

"We don't work for you anymore, Mr. Reid. Enjoy your retirement," Palin told the Reno crowd.

"We don't work for you anymore, Nancy Pelosi. You're fired. And Mr. Obama and your czars, you're next, because now, we can see 2012 from our house."

Palin was the headliner at a rally on behalf of Sharron Angle, the tea party-backed Republican running against Reid, the Senate majority leader.

Palin and the Tea Party Express drew more than 9,000 people to an anti-establishment rally in Reid's hometown of Searchlight back in March.

Angle couldn't attend Monday's rally because the national committee based in California has made independent expenditures on her behalf.
