Trump Pleads for Support From Iowa Voters

Donald Trump begged Iowans to caucus for him in just over a month at a rally in western Iowa on Tuesday, according to NBC News.

The GOP frontrunner dismissed suggestions that the campaign won’t be able to turn out supporters on Feb. 1, pushing back the notion that his supporters are not traditional caucus-goers and will stay home instead.

"You have a lot of friends in Iowa," Trump said. "You call every one of them on February 1st, and you make sure they get out and vote."

During the rally, Trump took indirect shots at rivals Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush. He also told the several thousand in attendance that he would continue to foster a partnership with Russian president Vladimir Putin.
