Victim's Family to File Suit Against Ex-Gov, State

The parents of a slain San Diego student plan to file a lawsuit Thursday against former Governor Schwarzenegger and the state for a decision he made in his last hours of office, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Schwarzenegger reduced the sentence of Esteban Nunez nearly in half, from 16 to 7 years.
The son of former California Assembly speaker Fabian Nunez pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of Luis Santos near San Diego State.
