The (3-1) 49ers go for their sixth straight win at Candlestick while facing the visting (2-1) Atlanta Falcons. Join the conversation @laurencescott or follow along with the embedded live game notes on the left.

San Francisco's five consecutive home wins ties them for the third longest streak in the NFL trailing the Indianapolis Colts (8) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6).

Recently signed 49ers rookie receiver Michael Crabtree has a roster exemption and will not play. Fellow rookie, running back Glen Coffee starts for the injured and inactive Frank Gore. Last week without Gore, the 49ers recorded their first shutout since the 2001 season with a 35-0 blowout of the division rival St. Louis Rams.

The Niners have a 26-10 record when playing the Falcons at home, including wins in 12 of the past 14 games at Candlestick.

This is the 74th meeting between the two teams dating back to 1966. The 49ers hold an all-time 44-28-1 advantage over Atlanta.
