A's Will Open Upper Deck for ALCS Only

The Oakland Athletics will open up the Coliseum's upper deck for a later series.

The Oakland A's want the fans to pack the upper decks of O.co Coliseum for the American League Championship Series.

If they make it.

First, the A's must win Game 3, 4 and 5 of the American League Division Series, and team officials will not take the tarps off of the upper decks for those games, according to the Bay Area News Group.

Tuesday's Game 3 is sold out. Game 4 tickets are still available, but the A's must win Tuesday to stave off elimination.

The upper third deck of O.co Coliseum has been tarped off since 2006 for most games due to "low attendance," the newspaper reported.

Fans have been asking team officials to take off the tarps "since the final series of the regular season against the Texas Rangers."
