Tom Brady: “We Just Sucked”

The emotional, unexpected post-game rant from a Bay Area-native Tom Brady is becoming a regular feature so far in the 2010 season.

The New England Patriots star quarterback took his turn at the genre after Sunday's 28-14 loss to the Jets, turning in some memorably PG-13 work at the microphone.

"We just sucked. That's what it comes down to," Brady said at a post-game press conference, in remarks available in video at ESPN Boston, "We had a hard time gaining yards there. We didn't do anything on third down and couldn't gain anything on first or second down. We couldn't run it, we couldn't throw it."

"We couldn't do anything in the second half," Brady said.

That's technically not true. In the second half, the Patriots could throw interceptions, fumble while getting sacked, or offer Darius Butler to be eaten for brunch.

Brady and the Patriots have six days to suck it up before the Buffalo Bills come to Foxborough this Sunday.
