A federal judge has ordered Barry Bonds' personal trainer Greg Anderson back to court to say whether he will to testify at the slugger's trial next month.

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston scheduled a hearing for 10 a.m. Wednesday and ordered the U.S. Marshals Service to inform Anderson and give him a ride if he needs it.

Illston has already barred prosecutors from using key evidence such as positive steroids tests at Bonds' March 2 trial unless Anderson testifies.

Prosecutors had planned on building their case by having Bonds' former girlfriend-on-the-side testify that she had seen firsthand all of this back acne, ho-hum sex drive and shrinking scrotum.  She was also ready to testify that she and Barry had discussed these matters, providing the thrust for nailing Bonds on the perjury charge. Barry has said repeatedly under oath that he never knew he was taking steroids.

Anderson has said through his attorney he will refuse to testify, and may be sent to prison on contempt of court charges.
Anderson has already spent a year in prison after refusing to testify about Bonds before a federal grand jury in 2006.
