Emotional Win for Raiders in Texas

On this given Sunday, the Oakland Raiders "just won baby"

To a man, the Oakland Raiders made it clear who they were playing for on Sunday: the late Al Davis.

The team pulled off a dramatic victory in Texas the day after their beloved owner passed away.

The Raiders beat the Texans 25-20. Michael Huff intercepted Texas QB Matt Schaub's pass in the end zone on the final play to lock down the win.

The phrase "Just Win Baby" was something many said they could hear Davis screaming throughout the game. And so they did.

Raider coach Hue Jackson broke down at the conclusion of the game. He huddled at the sideline with his head down and his eyes wet with tears.

Jackson told his players after the game that the win was dedicated to Davis. Jackson said in the post game press conference that he felt Davis' presence during the game. "Coach is somewhere up there rejoicing that his team did what he told them to do 'just win,'" Jackson said.

The team will fly back to Oakland Sunday night.

The fans self-organized a gathering at the team's Alameda facility to greet the players and show their support. The team is expected to arrive sometime between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Davis died Saturday at the age of 82. No cause of death has been released.

Sunday's game was the first game without Davis since 1962.  The players all wore a decal on their helmets that simply read "AL."

As for the game. Jason Campbell threw two touchdown passes. Sebastian Janikowski kicked four field goals.

The team improves their season to 3-2.

The Raiders will spend the next month at home playing Cleveland, Kansas City and Denver (plus the by week).

No official announcement has been made about a memorial for Davis, but there is sure to be something planned for next Sunday's game in Oakland.
