Barry Bonds is in danger of being proven a liar, if what a memo filed Friday in a San Francisco court says is true.

Several witnesses are ready to testify that they saw the former Giants slugger being injected with steroids, according to a document filed by federal prosecutors Friday. The memo was filed as part of the home run king's ongoing perjury trial.

The memo says prosecution witnesses scheduled to speak at Bonds' trial, which starts March 2, will include his former mistress, teammates and assistants who witnessed the slugger used banned substances. Bonds testified he never knowingly used banned drugs. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

"Several witnesses including the defendant's mistress, former personal assistants, and a former teammate, will testify at a trial about witnessing the defendant being injected and about statements the defendant made admitting his use of steroids," the memo reads.

A separate document lists the potential witnesses that will be called. The list includes Bonds' former mistress, Kimberly Bell and several former teammates and other professional athletes including Marvin Bernard, Bobby Estella, Jason and Jeremy Giambi, Armando Rios, Benito Santiago, Randy Velarde and more.

The prosecutors said they intend to call Anderson to the witness stand to testify whether he knows if Bonds took steroids but Anderson has already said he will refuse to testify and he already spent more than a year in prison for refusing to testify before.

The documents said prosecutors planned to have Bonds' personal trainer, Greg Anderson, jailed again if he refuses to testify at the slugger's trial.

The memo also says that a friend of Bonds, Steve Hoskins, recorded a conversation with Anderson, where he talks about injecting the slugger.

"...in early 2003, Steve Hoskins, a former associate of the defendant's recorded an in-person conversation with Anderson and other statements consistent with the administration of anabolic steroids to the defendant," the memo says.
