The Golden State Warriors are headed to San Jose’s SAP Center for the team’s pre-season opener, marking the Dubs’ return to the court 111 days after clinching the 2015 NBA Finals, the team announced Monday.

The NBA world champions will face the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 5, at 7:30 p.m. This is the first time since the late-90’s the Warriors will play at the SAP Center in San Jose since 2000, according to Warriors spokesman Raymond Ridder.

The team often plays pre-season games in cities that don’t have NBA team, including Anaheim,  San Diego, Kansas City and Ames, Iowa, Ridder said.

The game will include a first-of-its-kind giveaway: The first 10,000 fans to arrive at the game will get a San Jose Sharks Edition Stephen Curry bobblehead that features the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player wearing a Sharks sweater in support of the Bay Area’s National Hockey League team that calls the SAP Center home.

Tickets for the game in San Jose will be available starting Sept. 1 with a series of exclusive pre-sale events for Warriors and Sharks season ticket holders, as well as Warriors Insiders. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. on warriors.com or by calling 888-GSW-HOOP.
