Gradkowski Done for the Season: Report

MRI reveals separated shoulder, and that's all for Bruce Gradkowski.

It's a "more bad news" week for the Oakland Raiders, as the Contra Costa Times reports that Bruce Gradkowski's MRI Monday revealed that he's got a third-degree separated shoulder.

That means Gradkowski is unlikely to play again this season, and that Jason Campbell just won this season's Raiders quarterbacking derby by default.

Gradkowski re-injured the shoulder on the Raiders' final play of Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

"A third-degree separation typically involves the tearing of all the ligaments in the shoulder that hold down the clavicle'" writes the Times' Steve Corkran. "And takes weeks to months to heal completely."

The 5-6 Raiders have five more games in this regular season, and remain two games behind the AFC West-leading Kansas City Chiefs.
