There is no power right now at the HP Pavilion.  And that could be a problem for the thousands of San Jose Shark fans who have tickets for tonight's game.

The team is supposed to take on the Detroit Red Wings tonight at the Shark Tank.

The Director of Media Relations, Scott Emmert, said the outage is not expected to impact the game, but it did cancel both team's normal morning skates.

The cause of the outage is not known.

We'll update this story if the game is postponed or canceled because of the outage.
