Joe Montana's Son Busted at College Party

Notre Dame QB among 44 students arrested

Joe Montana and his wife, Jennifer, are living in the Bay Area after spending the last couple of years in the LA area.

But this weekend, the Montanas probably were out of town bailing out their son, Nate, after he was arrested at a college party.

Nate Montana, 20, is a backup quarterback at Notre Dame. He's facing charges for suspicion of underage drinking after he was arrested at an off-campus party Friday night. He was one of 44 students arrested -- eight of them are football players.

Two other non-athletes face a misdemeanor charge of providing alcohol to minors. The spokseman for St. Joseph County, Indiana, said most of the arrested had been released on $150 bond. Notre Dame officials said coaches were aware of the arrests and any possible discipline would be handled internally.

Nate Montana was a quarterback at Concord's De La Salle High School.
