Johnny Manziel Gives Advice to Lamar Jackson After Heisman Win

And it was the least surprising advice ever

After winning the Heisman Trophy Saturday, University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson said he was given advice by fellow Heisman-winner Johnny Manziel.

And it was the least surprising advice ever.

Jackson said on the "Dan Patrick Show" that Manziel told him to "have fun in college."

Manziel certainly had his share of "fun" since winning the trophy during his reshirt freshman year at Texas A&M in 2012. He played one more season in College Station before being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. Manziel was cut two days after the start of the 2016 NFL calendar year, following domestic violence accusations, and remains unsigned.

Manziel's family has expressed concern several times about his incidents involving police and partying lifestyle.

Jackson seems to have a grasp of what he should do in the wake of his Heisman win.

“I’m going to have to be staying in the house a lot more than I did before," he told Patrick. "Now that I’m here, I know it’s going to be even crazier.”

The 19-year-old Jackson won the 82nd Heisman Trophy after passing for 3,390 yards and 30 touchdowns while rushing for 1,538 yards and 21 more touchdowns. He has one more year before becoming eligible for the NFL Draft.
