LeBron James Takes Flight in Game 3 of NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 120-90 in game three of the NBA finals

LeBron James made the play of the game Wednesday night after deflecting a pass by the reigning MVP, Stephen Curry, late in the third quarter of game three of the NBA finals.

The deflection sent the ball high into the air and James lost his footing trying to recover the rock at half-court. But James regained his composure, then transitioned the steal into a fast-break play that ended with an emphatic alley-oop slam from the 12-time all-star.

James ended the night with 32 points, 13 of which came in the third quarter, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 120-90 victory at home over the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors lead the series 2-1.

The Cavaliers will have home court again for game four on Friday night.

In the last two weeks, Chick-fil-A has missed out on two potentially lucrative airport contracts after local politicians raised concerns over the company’s anti-LGBTQ history. Chick-fil-A has previously faced criticism and boycotts for its donations to anti-LGBTQ groups and CEO Dan Cathy’s public comments opposing gay marriage. The chain is famously closed on Sunday for religious reasons. New York State Assemblyman Sean Ryan tweeted Thursday that he was disappointed in the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority’s decision to put a Chick-fil-A in the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
