Former 49ers Head Coach Mike Nolan is apparently going to head up the defensive side of the ball for the Denver Broncos. John Engleberger and Jamie Winborn must be thrilled.

The former Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator was rumored to be joining the Green Bay Packers as their defensive guru but apparently something was not quite. The packers will reportedly turn to two of their backups.

The NFL Network reported on Sunday that Nolan would travel to the Mile High City and become a coordinator under former New England Patriots coach Josh McDaniels, who is scheduled to be introduced as the Broncos new head coach.
