Kenny Perry, the winner of the Travelers Championship, shot an impressive 63 to land a new course-record 258, which is 22 strokes under par.

He left David Toms and Paul Goydos to tie for the number two spot three strokes behind.

Thousands turned out for the weekend of golf at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, after a rainy day of play on Friday.

They watched U.S. Open champ Lucas Glover end in the middle of the pack, tying for 11th place.  Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh also finished lower on the leaderboard.

This was Perry's 21st time playing Cromwell.  He told the Hartford Courant that, "to say you want to win something and then to actually achieve it is a great feeling.  I just hate that it took me so long to do it."
